Evaluations are set for Woodbridge High School.
In order to manage the flow of players and make the process as effective as possible for you, please try to arrive near your suggested arrival time detailed in the attached document. Each player should bring some water, bring a copy of a utility bill, and arrive in basketball playing attire. If you have a basketball, you are welcome to bring it.
Girls 7th / 8th grade evaluations will be held on October 26th.

Irvine Youth Basketball League® was an sponsor of the Irvine Junior Games thourgh Irvine Children's Fund on Saturday May 17th. we had a booth at Irvine High School! Players entered our Win a Season Registration One for Boys and One for Girls. Winners to be annonced in Sept.
Irvine Flight Win AAU District Qualifying Tournament
The Irvine Flight, boys 8th grade All Net/AAU participated and won their
division in the AAU District Qualifying Tournament held on April 19th.
After going undefeated in pool play, the Flight beat the Los Alamitos
Splashers in the Championship game 43-41 to win the tournament and advance
on to the AAU District Championship to be held in May.
Behind a superb all-around performance by Thatcher who lead the Flight
throughout the tournament and an excellent effort by Rege and Martinez
(handling all point guard duties), the group played typical Flight
Basketball - harrassing, hard-nosed defense and a up-tempo style that most
teams cannot keep up with.
The Flight were comprised of: Daniel Thatcher, Claudell Martinez, Luke
Chaikovsky, Nick Mattair, Bryan Nguyen, Davion Lavender, Wes Hsi, Ryan Pham
and Atharva Rege.
The Flight are coached by Jeff Swartz, Jason Holte and Lisa Swartz

IYBL™ Salutes Outgoing President Dan Calhoun, and Welcomes New President!
Irvine, CA – The Irvine Youth Basketball League® (IYBL™), paid special tribute to its outgoing President Dan Calhoun, and welcomed new IYBL™ President Ron Lefton to take over the helm along with two other new board members during its Annual Board Meeting.
“We want to thank Dan Calhoun for his years of service to the Irvine Youth Basketball League®, and the commitment of he and his wife, Jeannie, to help our young people come to appreciate the benefits of the great game of basketball®!” exclaimed Ron Lefton, new IYBL™ President and Irvine Chapter Director.
“As the IYBL™ President for the past four years, Dan’s leadership has led to an improvement in the quality of our basketball and outreach programs, including new opportunities for younger kids, an improved league website - www.irvineyouthbasketball.com, and better social media communications,” explained Lefton.

IYBL is proud to partner with Friday Night Lights Youth Flag Football - Irvine. A league where having FUN is the cornerstone and being able to play with your friends is encouraged. Registration is open now for Spring season, which starts in February 2014.
